Area Sales Manager

 


**Job Summary:**

The role involves overseeing, nurturing, and guiding a team with a primary focus on enhancing service-to-sales capabilities through relationship management and optimizing sales executive productivity, ultimately leading to the achievement of sales and service objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Collaborate with the HR department to identify, interview, and select sales executives.

- Set and meet productivity benchmarks for the team, including premium per executive, case rate, persistency, retention, and exceeding planned productivity standards.

- Surpass revenue targets through effective sales strategies.

- Participate in joint fieldwork with sales executives to observe and demonstrate successful selling techniques.

- Conduct fortnightly performance reviews (PRP) with the sales team.

- Assist sales executives in utilizing the GOLD system for maximizing business within a specific target market.

- Oversee the daily activity plan of all team members to ensure adherence to prescribed levels.

- Ensure strict compliance with the company's rules and regulations regarding need-based selling, compliance, and customer service for all supervised executives.

- Manage, track, and convert leads provided by the in-house telemarketing unit.

- Engage with customers to promptly address inquiries and deliver exceptional customer service.

- Assist in resolving policyholders' complaints through direct customer service.

- Focus on retaining clients within the allocated book of relationships.

- Educate the team and prospects about MNYL products relative to competitors' offerings to facilitate informed decision-making.

**Measures of Success:**

- Achievement of set targets (Adjusted AFYP, NOP, % Penetration within the team's book of relationships, and Product Mix).

- Team's adherence to G3 standard productivity (with a primary focus on case rate, case size, and collections) and the percentage of executives consistently meeting G3 standards.

- High retention rate of the team.

- Portfolio persistency.

- Compliance with established processes.

- Timely and accurate reporting.

- Percentage of collections in comparison to the plan versus actual figures.

- Effective resolution of complaints and high customer satisfaction.

**Self Development:**

- Completion of induction, certifications, and relevant training programs.

- Fulfillment of licensing requirements.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: ₹800,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
