Job description:

Roles and Responsibilities (Along with Skills Required):

- On boarding of new vendor and alignment on the process flow.

- Consistent document management and release.

- Engage with internal and industry stakeholders on a higher performance level Factory, Transporter , Customs, Concur , Port authority .

- Align with the service level TAT ownership with internal key stakeholders.

- Review existing processes monthly and deploy learning from past/ongoing projects.

- Method implementation for 3rd country movement with TAT set with LSPs.

- Forwarders commercial relations:

- Invoice verification and loading in SAP.

- Systematic requisition plan for settlements / prioritisation

- Manage the fund allocation in discussion with department head.

- Time bound logistics disputes resolving

- Exception Management Drive out of way solutions to ensure the delivery objectives are met and highlight such milestones.

- Review and evaluation of KPIs with logistics vendors and monitor monthly performance.

- Preparation and issue of Request for Proposals

- Conduct negotiations with Freight Forwarders (in support and concurrence with Logistics Manager/ Head)

- Evaluate and negotiate through comparatives for each project.

- Single point of contact for Proposals team for logistics pricing - containers, break bulk and airfreight.

- Maintain upcoming tender performance, tender budget analysis, comparative and reduction target of 10-15%

- Review comparative statement along with HOD for management approval.

- Engage project country team and evaluate their participation for dealing with country-based forwarders.

- Forwarder's payments: Collaborate with operations colleague to ensure correct information flow.
