We have an urgent opening with a leading FMCG company:

Position - Manager PR & Communications

Reporting to - Head Marketing

Job Location - Corporate office, Andheri Mumbai

Experience - Relevant min 8-10 years

Communication - Fluent English (Verbal and Written)

- Marketing Agency / PR Agency exposure is must.

- Should have handled Top FMCG brands / clients

Job Description:

- Develop and initiate content which will gain visibility in the media

- Background in researching, writing and editing stories before sharing it with the publications.

- Develop PR campaigns and media relations strategies

- Collaborate with internal teams and maintain open communication with senior management

- Manage the PR agencies and with the help of agencies, constantly build stories for the brand and for the range of brands.

- Co-ordinate for the interaction line up between the spokesperson of company and the journalist

- Explore various stories with the publication to showcase the development and innovations at the company

- Plan and organize Press launch as and when required for the brand

- Identifying deals that works the best for the company and for its SKUs and closure of the proposal

- Plan and organize a monthly and quarter plan and generate reports

- Prepare and distribute press releases with the help of PR agency

- Handling and controlling the crisis management

- Analyzing and achieving the results targeted on a given task

- Monitoring the given task to the PR agency and target the top key publication to make the brand visible.

- Managing the chairman's twitter tweets on regular basis companies

CSR Initiative Role

- Developing content for project related campaigns, competitions, documents, videos, posts etc.

- Creating/updating PPT presentations for various stakeholders' like

- Housing societies in urban areas

- Households in rural, semi urban areas

- Gram Panchayats, Gram Sabha members, Rural level government bodies

- Corporates

- School and colleges

- Government officials and national/international organizations

- Creating an info desk/folder with latest updates about relevant research, publications, news links, video links etc so that latest data is available to be utilized in various presentations for various stakeholders

- Developing media relation strategies for carrying the campaign/project stories

- Collaborate with the OSR team for project related inputs required for developing the content and for finalizing the content

- Create/edit/ update/modify the content of promotional material/publications, etc (brochures, leaflets, videos, social media posts, etc)

- Prepare/strategies press releases, success stories

- Collaborate with internal teams for developing documentation/presentation on success stories

- Organize PR events and identify opportunities for partnerships, advertisement on different platforms like social media, print media, etc for various OSR projects

- Address inquiries about OSR projects from various PR agencies and communication platforms

- Track media coverage of OSR projects and share with internal teams and also share the current trends on social platforms

- Help in documentation of media coverage at central storage system which is easily accessible

- Prepare PR reports for assessment

- Any other PR related responsibilities for OSR that may arise in urgency
