About the Team : The S&D Grocery vertical at Ninjacart is focused on building the business of Kirana E-commerce where we source from a plethora of brands and deliver to retailers ensuring meeting the right value proposition like On time deliveries, competitive market prices and a wide and relevant assortment. While this value proposition is solid and proven in terms of being customer-centric, the ability to create solutions that are implementable, viable and feasible towards a profitable ecosystem is a brilliant and alluring challenge. We identify the right to win in each category, marrying the nuances of the categories to the needs of the customer. Structurally, this is a 0 to 1 team, with focus on quick experimentation and playbook building on fulfilling the customer needs with respect to Grocery along with a strong ethos of profitability.
Responsibilities :
- Driving, handling & monitoring the entire General Trade & distribution for assigned Zone/Area
- Delivery of Tonnage, Revenue & Market Share objectives
- New account acquisition & Mapping competition
- Exploring different Sales channels for growth
- Evaluating growth at Category level & developing metrics to gauge the performance across geographies/SKUs
- Improvement of Salesforce effectiveness
- Improving on-time delivery & customer experience
- Managing Trade spends
- Coordinating with the multiple stakeholders (Trade marketing, Operations, Finance, HR etc.,) to improve the P&L for the assigned Area

- 1 to 10 years of experience in Business Development and Team leading
- Bachelor's Degree/MBA in the relevant field
- Proven track record in Sales, Business development and winning new business
- Should be comfortable with extensive traveling
- From FMCG or companies with field sales structure
