Job description
- The Product Manager is to drive multiple products and initiatives across our hosting platform which powers millions of websites across the world
- The ideal candidate has working experience in managing virtualized products built on platforms like OpenStack, VMware, XEN, Virtuozzo, and others
- The candidate has great market knowledge and is up to speed with the latest trends in the industry and loves to learn about new technologies as they develop in the market
- The candidate must also have good attention to detail and organization skills to ensure timely delivery of products and features with impeccable quality
- They must possess strong results orientation with a passion for reporting and analysis which drives continuous improvement in the product and process
What you ll do:
Own the product end-to-end: from discovery to development and upkeep of the product
Contribute to product strategy and define what we should build and why
Conduct market research and competition, trends & feedback analysis to come up with a product roadmap
Bui ld cost and profitability models, product growth forecasts to ensure tech is ready to handle volumes
Measure and determine the value of features in the pipeline to determine selection and prioritization
Build product specs and drive implementation across t ech and business teams
Interact with customers and liaise with Sales & Support to capture key details for the product backlog
Prepare product documentation/tutorials to publish on the Support Center/Blogs
Implement product analytics to derive behavioral in sights on the usage of product/feature
Assist non-technical teams with the technical information required for their functions
Identify, engage and work with all project stakeholders
You will own the product portfolio for multiple of Newfolds international brand s.
Who you are:
You have a good understanding of Cloud technologies; specifically Infrastructure-as-a-Service
You are well-versed with Networking concepts, APIs and Server Environments
You understand various Hypervisor technologies
You have good oral and written communication skills
You must have excellent analytical skills
Strong diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills, and result-oriented attitude
You understand how cPanel , Plesk and various WHM s work, and can navigate your way around these panels
You understand basic SQL and understand concepts of database design
Bonus Points
You can write and deploy a basic website/application
You have good knowledge of Windows, Linux & Virtualization techniques
You have a good sense of User Experience
You are comf ortable creating UI prototypes and wireframes on paper or using applications for hi-fidelity mocks
