About the Client: PSS has been mandated to hire a Regional Sales Head for our client, a market leader in the polymer-based bath fittings space.
Job Purpose: The purpose of this role is to manage the P&L and drive the business for the North East & West Bengal market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set the strategy for North East & West Bengal market, drive sales in retail (hardware stores)
- Demand generation through projects - work closely with National key account management as necessary.
- Drive & ownership of Top 5-10 regional accounts
- Overseeing launch of new and existing product portfolio supported by display and stock
- Lead Retail & project team and develop regional organization.
- Coach sales team & ensure all team members have SMART sales objectives, monitor progress.
- Responsible for margin contribution.
- Seasoned line-manager used to setting direction and overseeing sales operations across a widely dispersed geography and client base in a region.
- Hands-on line manager and coach, wily and quickly able to detect any deviations of performance or integrity in team.
- Commercially savvy, astute in negotiations. Capable of, and motivated towards, integrating into a national approach.
Educational Qualifications And Experience:
- Excellent Presentation & communication skills, Leadership skills.
- Experience using well-developed and articulated business processes.
- North East market experience a must, strong understanding of bath fittings, chrome plated pipes industry
- Accomplished & seasoned ideally B2B and B2C, strong experience in retail & project sales.
