Job description
Strategy & Planning:
- Develop business plan, Direct and Implement promotion, programs & effective regional sales strategies to achieve sales objectives.
 - Setting Targets and timely assessing reach of the target by aligning target performance with business plan & KPIs.
 - Acquire Knowledge on industry trends, Market construct, Competitors strategies and customer behaviour to counter attack competition
 
Project Sales & Channel/Retails Sales:
- Appoint and evaluate competent channel partners in south zone as per company standards and maintain strong relationship.
 - Building relationship and develop business with Architects, Developers, Contractors as well as Retailers.
 
Sales & Sales Team Management:
- Generate Sales & monitor sales performance of Branch Manager and Executives of States within region in order to exceed sales target.
 - Achieving regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
 - To analyze sales trend and take corrective action whenever necessary. To plan, prepare and exercise control over sales budget & forecast.
 - Manage , Coordinate, & guide regional sales team.
 
Budget and Expenditure Management:
- Prepare annual budget and monitor budgetary controls for sales staff, promotional cost & manpower deployment as per plan.
 - Plan & optimize travel plan and expenditures for regional sales team.
 
Training & Coaching:
- Implement training & development program and monitor deliverables as per company guidelines for the region.
 - Internal Team Training program
 - Channel partners/ Applicator development and evaluation
 
Stock & Supply Chain:
- Coordinate with Supply chain team on stock updates and exercise control at customer/distributor point and warehouse.
 
New Opportunities Identifications:
- Expansion of business with development of new products, solutions and opportunities.
 
Preferred Candidate Profile -
1. Atleast 10+ years of experience in building materials
2. Well versed with South India Market and familiar with State Market (Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka & Kerala)
3. Technically sound on products and specifications
4. Good rapport with Architects, Builders, Developers and Channel Partners across different States
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
