We are currently expanding our home-based Dealer Account Manager team across India. If you are based in Kolkata, have good local dealership network connections and knowledge of the automotive industry and you are looking to join a global company where you can continuously develop your skills and knowledge, this may be the role for you!As a Dealer Account Manager, you will build and maintain strong relationships across the local automotive dealership network to promote JATO products and solutions whilst providing market insights and sourcing automotive data.

You will work collaboratively with the wider India team (including Sales, Data Research and Data Analytics) to improve the quality of the insights JATO provides about the India automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with automotive dealerships in the local region to collect and validate data.

  • Visit dealerships and gather business intelligence through conversations and presentations.- Source automotive data (Sales volumes, incentives and pricing) in the local market for PV, 2W, LCV etc.
  • Follow research guidelines and processes to ensure data quality.- Input pricing and sales data into sales spreadsheet and maintain dealer profiles.
  • Develop knowledge of automotive industry verticals and Original Equipment Manufacturer policies.- Monitor industry trends and regulations.
  • Collaborate with data analytics, business intelligence and sales team.- Support ad-hoc data requests.- Promote JATO products and solutions to automotive dealerships.
  • Uphold JATO's values of excellence, integrity, collaboration and innovation.Key Requirements- Must be based in Kolkata.
  • Educated at diploma or graduate level within Engineering, MBA desirable.- Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience, with experience in a dealer background required (sales, finance, insurance) with established networks and relationships.
  • Knowledge of the local automotive market and working understanding of vehicle-related terminologies.- Willingness to travel daily within the market area, including inter-city.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English, Hindi, and one regional language (if applicable) is crucial.- Proficient PC skills, including knowledge of Outlook, MS Teams, Word, Excel.
  • Must be numerate and have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.- High level of self-motivation and proactivity as most of the work will be undertaken independently.
  • Results-driven mindset with excellent people skills with the ability to quickly build collaborative relationships.- Familiarity with current JATO products is advantageous.
