Manager - Trade Marketing - FMCG


MAIN PURPOSE:

- Lead Trade Marketing to design trade strategy, drive primary revenue, innovation contribution, lead distribution & share for foods across traditional and organized channels.

- Customer Marketing - Lead on ground execution of marketing plans to strengthen brand engagement with consumer and shoppers in the store and help in building and improving brand tertiary.

Key Accountabilities:

1. TMM will be a key role as an interface between Brand and Sales.

2. Drive Brand / Category revenue performance; Drive Company objectives for portfolio growth and distribution.

3. Design Trade marketing plan in line with Sales and Brand strategy (Trade scheme and Trade Promotion etc.)

4. Demand & Monthly operating planning, deliver maximum fill rate and forecast accuracy

5. GTM Plan and execution of new product launches

6. Drive and deliver Brand/Portfolio distribution as per AOP for Core and Innovation pack.

7. Design tactical intervention to increase sell-in for New products and focus Brands / SKUs across channel / seasonal portfolio / competitive category.

8. Study relevant facts and insights (Category and Competition) through RMS database of Nielsen to identify growth opportunities (MS, ND/WD and Channel contribution)

9. Review and optimize trade spend utilization.

10. GTM excellence - Quality of Presence & visibility through effective deployment of point of sales assets in Top Stores / Targeted Retail environment

11. Execution of Trade promotions, BTL activities, In-store activity & promotion, Event and Trade campaign planning.

12. Channel activation - Manage channel performance (growth and contribution); Design & execute Channel engagement program to enable growth in business.

13. Customer Orientation: Work with team to develop account / channel specific strategies - Pack, Price, Promotions plan and improve brand communication in store and tertiary.

Specification:

- 08-10 years of FMCG Sales (General Trade)

- 02-03 years of experience in Trade Marketing in any good FMCG organization (preference - food/ Beverage/ Confectionary category)

- Strong analytical & presentation skills (Can work on large raw database, create impactful insights, ability to present and communicate in structured format)

- Preferably MBA from a good school / college
